I just wrapped up writing a brand new song, lyrics and all. It's called .88 and it's the first song in two years that's reached this level of being complete. I've run through the whole song acoustically to solidify some of the rough areas. Musically, this one covers some bases. It originated from a progressive rock riff, but it got a bit pop-ish when I was fighting for a good vocal melody. Progressive pop? Don't count on it, I'll make sure it gets rocked up when I start recording.

My home studio is slightly out of commission at the moment, but I've been doing some work in another studio that is almost finished up, so maybe I can lay some tracks down there.
